The Epic Return of Kolobok

The Epic Return of Kolobok is a self-portrait installation and an eclectic mix of memories, cultural symbols, and reimagined landscapes. As a Russian-born artist, I am interested in exploring how identity and symbolic structures transform within a new environment. Using my own image as a reference, I place myself within narratives shaped by fairytales and lived experience to explore adaptation, displacement, and transformation.
